What your day could look like
As an Assistant Program Officer, you'll support initiatives that help healthcare professionals learn, grow and deliver great outcomes for regional communities. Working with a collaborative team, you'll help coordinate programs, strengthen workforce capability and contribute to projects that make a real difference.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Supporting workforce development initiatives that build capability across allied health teams.
- Coordinating program activities, events and stakeholder engagement to keep projects on track.
- Using data and reporting insights to monitor progress and support informed decisions.
- Building robust relationships that foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Experience supporting projects, programs or service delivery activities.
- Strong digital skills, including Microsoft Office and other business systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
- The ability to manage priorities, solve problems and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience supporting education,
training or workforce development programs and/or experience in healthcare or the public sector.
Most importantly, you're passionate about helping others succeed and creating positive impact through collaboration, innovation and service excellence.
