About the role

Due to the imminent retirement of the current Director, we are seeking a warm and experienced Centre Manager to join our cohesive team . As the Centre Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our boutique childcare facility, ensuring the delivery of safe and exceptional educational programs and care for the children in our charge.

What you'll be doing

- Championing the Paramountcy Principle in our service
- Providing strong and supportive leadership and management to a team of dedicated educators who develop and implement engaging educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
- Overseeing the centre's budget and financial responsibilities
- Fostering warm relationships with families, the local community, and key stakeholders
- Co-ordinating the recruitment, performance review, training, and professional development of staff
- Continuously seeking ways to improve the quality of service and enhance the children's learning experience

What we're looking for





- Minimum 5 years' experience in an operational leadership role in either early childhood education or another regulated service field where skills would be readily transferable.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Early Childhood Education or a related field where expertise is transferable to an early childhood setting.
- Current Child Protection, Child Safety and First Aid training
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to effectively manage a team and lead by example
- Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and relevant regulations
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Passionate about providing high-quality care and education for young children
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
