About the Role We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join a busy allied health recruitment function. This is a high-impact contracting role focused on placing allied health professionals into private practices, clinics and community services across New South Wales. You will work with an established client base and a pipeline of candidates while driving new business development and delivering exceptional service that positions our practice as a preferred partner.
Key Responsibilities
Source, screen and present qualified allied health candidates across multiple disciplines including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and other allied professions.
Manage full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through candidate shortlisting, interview coordination and onboarding assistance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and health service leaders to understand workforce needs and shape effective talent solutions.
Drive business development initiatives to grow client billings and expand market share within the allied health sector.
Negotiate commercial terms and manage fee conversations professionally to maximise billings while maintaining client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate candidate and client records, ensuring compliance with privacy and industry regulations.
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing market insights, candidate feedback and process enhancements.

You Are
A recruitment professional with 3-15+ years' experience placing healthcare or allied health professionals, or a recruiter with solid commercial and candidate management experience ready to specialise. Holds, or is working towards, a Bachelor's degree or similar qualification.
An Australian citizen or permanent resident eligible to work without restriction. Commercially minded with a track record of meeting billings targets and growing client relationships. Excellent communicator and negotiator who builds trust with candidates and clients alike.
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple assignments with attention to detail and timely delivery.
