Our client is a Southeast Queensland company providing high quality building materials and tools for both trade professionals and retail customers. Continuing to expand we are pleased to be recruiting for a person experienced in warehousing and customer service to be working at their Coopers Plains store.

This is an all-rounder warehouse type position, someone who enjoys working as part of a small team.

Responsibilities for this position include:

- Operate forklifts safely to load and unload goods
- Receive, check and put away incoming stock accurately
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders efficiently
- Assist walk-in customers with product enquiries and order fulfilment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control processes
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and replenishment
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe at all times




- Work closely with the sales team and store managers to ensure smooth daily

To be considered:

- Valid forklift licence, drivers licence. Can drive a high reach forklift
- Previous experience in warehouse operations and/or building materials industry preferred
- Ability to provide good customer service and communicate clearly
- Solid attention to detail and organisational skills
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (for inventory and order systems)
- Can work on Saturdays
- Tiling, waterproofing or flooring experience highly desirable but not essential
