The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations at our Mount Kuring-Gai facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven manufacturing professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced production environment and has a strong understanding of fabrication processes, workflow optimisation, and team leadership. Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the production facility, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resource utilisation.
- Lead and support production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
- Work closely with the scheduling team to coordinate production priorities, manage workloads, and meet customer deadlines.
- Oversee inventory control, stock management, and regular stocktakes to maintain accurate material availability.
- Monitor production performance through reporting, KPI tracking, and operational reviews.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across production processes.




- Manage workflow through fabrication processes, including CNC machinery, press brakes, laser cutters, and associated manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure machinery, tooling, and equipment are maintained and operated effectively.
- Support quality control processes to ensure products meet company standards.
- Assist with planning, problem‑solving, and operational decision‑making to improve efficiency and output.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication environments.
- Experience working with sheet metal processing equipment, including press brakes and laser cutting machinery.
- Demonstrated ability in production planning, reporting, scheduling coordination, and inventory management.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a production team.
- A hands‑on approach with a focus on achieving results.
