We're looking for a Product Designer to join as our sole designer, working across our consumer app, web funnels, AI experiences and B2B products. You'll report directly to the Head of Product and help decide what we build and how it should work.This role starts as maternity leave cover, with genuine potential to become permanent as equ grows. Starting Mid -end of October 2026, must be based in Australia.
What you'll own:
- End-to-end design across our app, web funnels and B2B products
- Discovery, strategy and prioritisation with our Head of Product
- Turning customer and business problems into clear flows, prototypes and polished UI
- Exploring practical ways AI can make the equ experience more personal and useful
- Research, usability testing and feedback sessions with our community
- Building and evolving our design system across consumer and partner products
- Close collaboration with engineers through implementation and design QA
- Supporting marketing growth funnel and product marketing assets when needed
What you'll bring:
- 3+ years in Product Design, UX/UI or similar
- A strong portfolio showing product thinking, quality craft and real user impact
- Excellent UX instincts, visual taste and attention to detail
- Strong Figma skills across mobile and web
- Experience with discovery, research, prototyping, testing and design systems
- A thoughtful understanding of how AI can improve products and design workflows
- Confidence working independently in a rapid-moving startup
- Curiosity about nutrition, health and behaviour change design
