Through Sovereign Capability Group, we are also connected to broader capability areas, including the defence industry, engineering, mission-critical technology, AI, nuclear supply chain services, and sovereign capability programs.

We are looking for a commercially minded Cyber Security Recruitment Consultant to develop client relationships, identify workforce needs, build trusted cyber talent networks and convert market opportunities into sustainable revenue.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of Cyber Security clients across Defence, critical infrastructure, technology, consulting and commercial sectors. This will include existing relationships, warm introductions, and proactive business development across enterprise organisations, consultancies, MSSPs, technology vendors and emerging cyber businesses.

You will work across permanent and contract recruitment assignments, with a particular focus on Cyber Security leadership, Security Operations, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC),



Cloud Security, Security Architecture, Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and security-cleared cyber professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and manage client relationships across Cyber Security, Defence, technology and critical infrastructure sectors
- Develop a territory plan covering existing accounts, target clients and priority relationships
- Generate new business through disciplined sales activity, referrals, account development and market mapping
- Identify, attract and manage high-quality cyber security professionals across permanent and contract markets
- Develop and maintain candidate networks within security-cleared, technical and leadership cyber communities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from client qualification through to offer, placement and onboarding
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and talent strategies
- Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline, activity and account information
- Stay informed on cyber security market trends, emerging technologies and talent availability
- Contribute to the growth of a specialist Cyber Security recruitment practice in Sydney

About You

You may already be an experienced Cyber Security recruiter or come from a technology recruitment background with exposure to cyber, infrastructure,



cloud or digital recruitment.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Experience in recruitment, account management or business development
- Experience recruiting within Cyber Security, ICT, Technology, Defence or related professional services sectors
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client and candidate relationships
- Commercial discipline with the ability to manage activity, pipeline and revenue outcomes
- A proactive and consultative approach to business development
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Resilience, professionalism and a genuine passion for building long-term partnerships
- Existing networks across Cyber Security, Defence or Technology sectors will be highly regarded
