About the Role

Acumen Health, part of the APM Group, delivers workplace health, injury management and safety services. This role focuses on supporting individuals who have experienced physical or psychological injury at work, helping them return to their job or find new employment.

Responsibilities

- Apply clinical reasoning to support people with physical and/or psychological injury.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing.
- Perform a variety of assessments including vocational assessments, transferable skills assessment, job preparation services, worksite assessments and initial needs assessments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as injured employees, employers, medical specialists and allied health professionals.
- Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans through case management.

Qualifications

- Current unrestricted registration or eligibility with relevant industry bodies (AHPRA, ASORC).




- Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counseling or Psychology (fully registered or provisional psychologists with external supervision considered).
- Robust clinical reasoning.
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support a common goal.
- Passion to help people rehabilitate.
- Occupational Rehabilitation experience highly desirable.
