- Conduct compliance inspections and Test & Tag of welding and industrial equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults, including PCB-level component replacement
- Install, service and maintain welding machines and associated electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintain accurate service records
- Ensure full compliance with safety legislation and company standards
- Support branch operations when required, including equipment handling and logistics
- Identify and implement productivity and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Electrical Trade Qualification (essential)
- Proven experience servicing and repairing welding machines
- Solid capability diagnosing PC boards to component level
- Advanced understanding of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, silicon diodes)
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and zero‑harm principles
- Full work rights in Australia
