Registered Nurse - Transition to Specialty Practice Program - Cancer Care 2027

About the Role
The Cancer Care Rotation Program is designed for registered nurses who have completed at least one year of post‑graduate nursing experience and are interested in specialising in cancer care. Over 12 months, participants will rotate through four distinct cancer services: inpatient oncology, inpatient haematology, outpatient treatment and radiotherapy, combining theoretical learning with clinical practice to develop a holistic understanding of cancer nursing.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
- Completed a minimum of one year post‑graduate nursing experience
- Demonstrated desire for further education in cancer nursing
- Effective teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Have unlimited working rights in Australia
- Successfully complete pre‑employment checks including reference checks, work rights, criminal history check and WWCC checks to ensure suitability for the role.
- Provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role.

Salary & Classification
Salary classification: Registered Nurse (year 2 – year 8). Remuneration: $43.46 – $57.88 per hour, plus superannuation, annual leave loading and salary packaging options. Temporary Full‑Time / Part‑Time positions (0.8 FTE) will be considered, with opportunity for permanent appointment upon completion of the Program.
