What’s the opportunity?

Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, the Electrical Technician (Shift) will play a key role in maintaining the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the surface processing plant at Northparkes. You will work across a range of fixed plant assets, including mills, crushers, conveyors, and process instrumentation, performing both planned maintenance and breakdown support.

This is a hands‑on role within a highly experienced and collaborative team where you’ll have the opportunity to broaden your technical capability and contribute to the continued success of Northparkes.

Based at our Northparkes Operations, you’ll:

- Perform maintenance and repair of fixed and mobile electrical systems
- Troubleshoot faults to ensure plant reliability
- Support shutdowns and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work safely in accordance with Evolution standards and statutory requirements

Does this sound like you?

The ideal candidate will hold a current NSW Electrical licence and full driver’s licence, with experience in either mining, industrial, or heavy process environments. Qualifications such as HV Switching and/or Instrumentation are highly regarded but not essential; training can be provided.

You must be a proactive team player who takes pride in your work and values collaboration. Whether you are an experienced mining electrician or a qualified tradesperson looking to transition into mining, we will provide the training and support you need to succeed.
