The Opportunity

The School of Nursing and Midwifery has two exciting Research Fellow positions available to contribute to the ENGAGE Project, an NHMRC Investigator Grant‑funded program focused on improving medication management for older people transitioning between healthcare settings. These positions will support the conduct of an effectiveness and implementation study across Melbourne hospitals, promoting collaboration between older patients, families and health professionals to improve medication safety and healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct data collection through surveys and interviews.
- Manage and analyse data using REDCap.
- Prepare manuscripts and conference presentations.
- Develop knowledge translation resources to disseminate findings.
- Engage with patients, families and health professionals within healthcare environments.

Qualifications





- Honours degree or higher qualification in a relevant health‑related discipline (e.g., nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, pharmacy, health sociology or health sciences).
- Progress toward or completion of a doctorate is desirable.
- Experience in health services research, data collection and analysis, manuscript preparation, and engaging with patients, families and health professionals.
