Job Summary
Maintain and deliver world‑class service as well as optimize advanced systems for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in a supportive team with experienced coworkers, both at customer sites and in the office.
- Prepare, execute and report preventative equipment maintenance visits.
- Attend customers’ sites to conduct service visits.
- Troubleshoot production issues at customers’ sites.
- Complete on‑site evaluations, install machine enhancements, and appropriately test and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Ensure that the JBT Marel experience for customers matches the company’s promise of superior performance, service, and quality with outstanding communication skills as you work closely with customer management, supervisors, etc.
- Troubleshoot and perform break‑fix services to high technology food processing equipment.
Qualifications
- Industrial Electrical trade background or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of PLCs with ability to diagnose and repair complex control systems.
- Experience interpreting electrical schematic and circuit diagrams.
- Minimum 3‑5 years’ experience in a manufacturing workplace (FMCG highly regarded).
- Working knowledge of Linux/Windows OS desirable.
- Cert III or Cert IV Instrumentation and Control with experience highly regarded.
- Familiarity with conveyors, process lines, motors, VSDs and automation equipment.
- Ability and willingness to work weekends and out of hours.
- Ideally based within 1‑2 hours travel time of a capital city or major regional airport.
