We are seeking a General Manager – Quality, Risk & Compliance to lead the organisation's governance, risk and assurance agenda. Based at our Corporate Head Office in Elsternwick, this enterprise leadership role partners closely with Executive and operational leaders to strengthen governance maturity, build organisational capability and ensure practical, scalable frameworks support safe, high-quality and sustainable service delivery across community services, disability, aged care and commercial operations.

About the role

You will provide strategic leadership across quality, risk and compliance, ensuring governance frameworks not only meet regulatory obligations but actively enable organisational performance and operational excellence.

Working closely with Executive and operational leaders, you will strengthen enterprise assurance, embed practical governance practices and drive continuous improvement across diverse service environments. As the organisation continues to grow and evolve, you will play a key role in enhancing governance capability and organisational resilience.

Success in this role requires more than technical expertise. You will be comfortable navigating complexity, building trusted relationships and influencing decision‑making across all levels of the organisation. You bring the judgement to balance governance requirements with operational realities and deliver practical, sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the organisation's enterprise governance, quality, risk and compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational growth and regulatory obligations.
- Provide trusted advice to Executive leaders on governance maturity, enterprise risk and compliance performance.




- Establish and embed assurance frameworks that drive accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.
- Oversee integrated quality, risk and compliance systems, ensuring audit readiness, accreditation compliance and regulatory obligations are consistently met.
- Maintain enterprise risk frameworks, registers, controls and reporting to support informed decision‑making.
- Lead organisational responses to critical incidents, complaints, systemic issues and audit findings, ensuring effective remediation and organisational learning.
- Deliver transparent and meaningful reporting on quality, risk and compliance performance to Executive stakeholders and governance committees.
- Build organisational capability by partnering with leaders to embed practical governance, quality and risk practices across the business.
- Develop and lead a high‑performing team, fostering accountability, capability and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with regulators and external stakeholders to maintain compliance and strengthen organisational credibility.

About you

You are an accomplished executive who has successfully led enterprise quality, risk and compliance functions within complex, regulated environments. Commercially astute and highly credible, you build trusted relationships, influence senior stakeholders and navigate complexity with confidence. You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach, enabling governance frameworks that support organisational performance while delivering practical outcomes.





- Senior leadership experience at General Manager, Executive Manager or equivalent level.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise quality, risk and compliance functions.
- Strong experience engaging and influencing Executive leaders and senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of governance, risk, compliance and assurance frameworks.
- Experience leading organisational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Governance, Business, Law, Health, Risk or a related discipline.

Highly regarded

- Experience leading quality, risk, compliance or governance functions within community services, disability, aged care, health or other highly regulated environments.
- Postgraduate qualifications in governance, leadership or risk.
- Experience supporting Board and governance reporting.
- Strong understanding of contemporary enterprise risk management frameworks.
