Morning Shift: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
Afternoon Shift: $39.00 - $41.00 per hour
Rates dependent on experience.

Our client is a well-established food manufacturing and distribution business based in Heidelberg West. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Operator to join their production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled food manufacturing professional who is looking for a stable role with long-term career development and progression opportunities.

Shift Details

- Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
- Transitioning to an afternoon shift of 3:00pm - 11:00pm from mid-September
- Ongoing employment opportunity

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor food manufacturing machinery to achieve production, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Perform machine setups, product changeovers, and equipment adjustments.
- Troubleshoot machinery faults and liaise with maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and food safety standards.
- Provide guidance and support to Machine Operators and Production Operators.




- Complete production records and documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, GMP, and HACCP requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production area.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience as a Senior Machine Operator within a food manufacturing workplace.
- Experience performing machine setups, changeovers, troubleshooting, and fault finding.
- Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
- Experience mentoring, training, or supporting team members.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to transition to the afternoon shift from mid-September.
