We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Solution Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering architecture outcomes across industrial technology environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining current-state, transition-state, and future-state architectures, evaluating solution options, documenting key architectural decisions, and ensuring successful alignment between architecture and delivery teams.

Description

- Develop and maintain end-to-end solution architectures across: Business, Information and data, Application, Integration, OT/industrial technology and, Security architecture.
- Define current, transitional, and future-state architecture roadmaps for OT environments.
- Provide architectural leadership for SCADA, critical infrastructure, EMS, and supporting OT infrastructure solutions.
- Assess architecture options and recommend fit‑for‑purpose solutions aligned to business and operational objectives.
- Support the integration of OT and IT environments while maintaining security, reliability, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams, operations, cyber security specialists, infrastructure teams, software vendors, and industrial technology suppliers.




- Translate complex technical concepts into practical recommendations for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Profile

A Successful Solutions Architect Operational Technology Should Have

- 7+ years of Solution Architecture experience within complex enterprise technology environments.
- Hands‑on experience working within Operational Technology (OT) utilities, water, energy, transport or mining environments.
- Solid knowledge of:
- SCADA platforms
- Human Machine Interface (HMI) solutions
- Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
- Energy Management Systems (EMS)
- OT infrastructure technologies

- Experience with industrial networking and infrastructure technologies, including vendors such as: Siemens, Hirschmann.
- Deep understanding of: OT network design and segmentation, DMZ‑based integration patterns, Industrial cyber security principles.
- Familiarity with industry architecture and security frameworks, including: Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture (PERA), ISA/IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 62443 standards.
- Pragmatic approach to architecture and decision‑making.
