Casual Animal Attendant – Gladesville Veterinary Hospital and Ryde Vet Clinic.

Gladesville Veterinary Hospital and Ryde Vet Clinic is looking for a caring, reliable Casual Animal Attendant to join our supportive teams. This is a excellent role for someone who loves animals, enjoys hands‑on work, and thrives in a busy hospital environment.

What You’ll Do:

- Provide daily care for patients and boarding animals
- Assist with feeding, cleaning, exercising and general husbandry
- Keep animal housing, hospital areas and equipment clean and organised
- Support the nursing and veterinary teams with basic tasks
- Maintain a safe, hygienic and low‑stress environment for all animals

About You:

- Previous animal handling or kennel attendant experience is ideal
- Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments




- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
- Willing to work weekends, public holidays or varied shifts as needed
