Senior Active Directory Infrastructure Engineer

Must Have Skills

- In depth knowledge & experience, including configuration of Windows Domain Infrastructure including Active Directory, Key tabs, DNS, DHCP, Splunk, SIEM tools and Public Key Infrastructure
- Must have significant windows server 2008/2012/2016/2019 support & administration experience
- Work with different application teams for setting up the authentication and assist in identifying apps/systems configuration related to active directory
- Strong understanding of AD attributes, LDAP Queries, PowerShell scripting to modify AD attributes, GPO configuration & Analysis

Nice to have skills

- Should have knowledge on troubleshooting Active Directory Infrastructure performance issues
- Providing Australia Business hours operational support for AD Non-PROD and PROD environments
- Willing to work 24*7 shift
- Good analytical & problem-solving skills
- Plan and schedule Changes, Coordinating with different stakeholders.
- Monitoring of Active Directory Environments through relevant tools/dashboards and act wherever required
- Knowledge on Promotion and Demotion of Domain Controllers
- Good knowledge on DFS Management
- Add/Remove and configure Active Directory sites, subnets, and site links

Detailed Job Description

- Day-to-day operational management and support of the company's enterprise class, critical Active Directory infrastructure




- Performing health checks on the status of AD environments using multiple tools/dashboards
- Working on incidents queue, including troubleshooting, and communicating with other support teams and affected users
- Assisting/Coaching L1 team members on incident troubleshooting
- Plan and schedule Changes, Coordinating with different stakeholders.
- Restoration of AD objects
- Share management using DFS Console
- Domain Controller demotion and promotion
- User and Group management on Azure Active Directory
- Working experience on Problem Management, finding RCA on issues

Minimum years of experience

12+ years

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute

- Working knowledge of GPOs, Trust, AD Replication Topology, and native AD troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge on DNS and DHCP
- Valuable exposure to ITIL process like incident, change, problem and change management
- Good knowledge on ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Remedy
- Experience in IT infrastructure management in Banking Domain
- Self-motivated who takes initiative and works well in a team environment with the ability to meet deadlines
- Good knowledge on Azure Active Directory
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
