General Practitioner – Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Medical Service (GLAMS)

Location: Gilgandra, NSW | Full‑Time | No Weekend Work | Accommodation & Vehicle Provided

About the Role

Working in a fully bulk‑billing clinic, you will play a vital role in a multidisciplinary team that supports patients across all life stages—from pregnancy and early childhood through to chronic disease management, geriatrics, and palliative care.

Supported by experienced nurses, Aboriginal health workers, friendly administration staff, and an onsite management team, you’ll also benefit from visiting allied health and specialist services, including:

- Dietitian, Podiatrist, Pharmacist, Audiologist, Optometrist
- Cardiologist, Diabetic Educator, Women’s Health specialist
- Access to regular Telehealth clinics

Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (No weekend or after‑hours shifts)

Patient Load: 15–20 patients per day

Essential Criteria

- Vocational Registration (FRACGP, FACRRM or equivalent)
- AHPRA registration (General or Specialist)
- Appropriate medical indemnity insurance
- Class C Driver’s licence
- National Police Check (within 3 months) and Working with Children Check
- Proof of vaccination and right to work in Australia (no visa sponsorship available)

Desirable

- Experience in Aboriginal health or rural general practice
- Familiarity with Best Practice software and My Health Record (training available)
