The Role

In this role, you will be a key point of contact for customers, managing orders from placement through to delivery while ensuring all enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. You will engage with customers via phone, email, and online ordering platforms and take ownership of resolving queries.

Success in this position relies on your ability to communicate effectively with internal teams including warehousing, purchasing, and transport, ensuring smooth order fulfilment and timely issue resolution.

Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team that has a high regard for safety, they value great attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

- Enter and manage customer orders with a high level of accuracy
- Coordinate order priorities, picking schedules, and delivery requirements




- Provide timely updates to customers on stock availability, backorders, ETAs, alternatives, and pricing
- Work closely with purchasing, accounts, sales teams, and warehouse staff to resolve issues
- Investigate and manage product queries, supplier follow‑ups, and customer complaints
- Assist with stock administration, product setup, payment processing, and general office tasks
- Support warehouse operations when required, including occasional picking and packing
- Previous experience as a Vet Nurse, Veterinary Receptionist, or within medical, pharmaceutical, or animal health environments will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in high‑volume service or administration roles
- Strong data accuracy and ability to identify discrepancies
- Confident working autonomously to resolve customer and supplier issues
- Reliable, professional, and motivated to learn and build product knowledge
- Comfortable using computer systems with accurate data entry capability

Essential Criteria

- Previous experience as a Vet Nurse, Veterinary Receptionist, or within medical, pharmaceutical, or animal health environments will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in high‑volume service or administration roles
- Strong data accuracy and ability to identify discrepancies
