About the Role

Are you a networking expert who enjoys solving complex challenges, enabling partners, and influencing technical outcomes?

Westcon-Comstor is looking for a Solution Architect - HPE Networking to join our Northern Region team. This is a highly visible technical leadership role where you'll work closely with partners, HPE Networking, and internal stakeholders to design innovative networking solutions, drive technical enablement, and help grow our HPE Networking business.

As a trusted technical adviser, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our partner ecosystem through solution design, technical strategy, enablement, and thought leadership. You'll help partners navigate complex opportunities, deliver technical workshops and training, support proof of concepts, and build strong relationships across the HPE Networking community.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep networking expertise with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others succeed.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Leading technical strategy and solution design for complex networking opportunities.
- Supporting channel partners with solution architecture, proof of concepts, and technical guidance.
- Delivering technical enablement sessions, workshops, lunch-and-learns, and whiteboard presentations.
- Working closely with HPE Networking and partner technical teams to build capability and drive growth.
- Acting as a trusted adviser to partners, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Providing technical market insights and identifying opportunities to grow revenue and strengthen market alignment.




- Supporting marketing initiatives through technical content, programs, and events.

Qualifications / Requirements

What we're looking for

You'll be a highly collaborative and commercially aware technical professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing outcomes.

Ideally, you'll bring:
• Strong networking knowledge and experience within enterprise environments.
• Experience in a technical pre-sales, solution architecture, systems engineering, or technical sales role.
• Experience working within a channel or vendor ecosystem.
• Robust presentation and facilitation skills, both in person and virtually.
• The ability to explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
• A passion for enablement, education, and partner success.
Desirable Qualifications
• Experience with HPE Networking (Aruba) solutions.
• Current or recent networking certifications.
• Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS certifications.
• Aruba Networking Certified Professional (ACP) certification.
