• Establish key communication processes to coordinate links between the correctional centre, service providers and probation and parole services to ensure appropriate services and support are being provided
• Monitor and analyse data to ensure identification and allocation of prisoners to the appropriate services, both internal and external
• Establish effective working relationships between QCS and service providers to support the release planning process
• Provide guidance to contracted service providers in relation to identified service delivery needs
• Contribute to the ongoing review of the service delivery through monitoring the efficiency and relevance of service provision, identifying any gaps in service delivery and advising on improvements
• Allocation of prisoners to programs including making offers and recording outcomes





- Highly developed skills at a competent level with the willingness to learn recent IT skills and use internal information management databases as well as Microsoft Office software
- Demonstrated experience to ensure tasks are completed within the required deadlines and in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures
- Ability to demonstrate a range of problem-solving strategies and show initiative in identifying and solving problems both independently and as a team member
- Ability to use judgement and discretion with confidential information
- High level oral and written communication skills for gathering and providing information both over the phone and in person, to a range of stakeholders and ability to summarise information and data
- Ability to acquire knowledge of relevant acts and regulations
