Baisie is an innovative, practitioner owned company based in Tamworth. Primarily providing services to children aged 0-18 years under the NDIS and leading in the family-centered model of practice for early intervention. Our transdisciplinary team consists of highly diverse experiences from current graduate clinicians to experienced senior therapists.

About the role
• You will join a team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants in a transdisciplinary allied health service based in Tamworth.
• Utlising a family centered practice model, you will provide services to children aged 0-18 years with the scope to build the caseload you want. Furthermore, you will have opportunities to be a part of projects and extend skills in special interest areas.
• As a therapist at Baisie you will provide supports in a range of settings such as the clinic, schools, preschool and daycares or even family homes. You will have opportunity to complete joint sessions with our Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants as well as work on your own.
• As a senior Occupational Therapy you will collaborate with other senior clinicians,
continue to develop the OT team and add your own personal touches as well as provide clinical supervision to early career therapists.

• Above award salary + 12.5% superannuation
• 4 weeks annual leave plus additional 3 days over Christmas period
• Up to $10,000 in paid PD through the RDN and 5 days paid PD leave (pro rata)
• Clinically developed supervision models to suit new graduates and experiences therapists and altered to meet individual learning needs provided by our experiences clinicians in house.
• Adjusted billable hours for the first 6 months for all new graduates
• Fortnightly team meetings, fortnightly peer supervision and quarterly in house PD and team building days - on top of your regular supervision schedule!
• 9 day fortnight for full time employee's
• Provision of your own phone and laptop.
Selection Criteria
• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
• Driver’s license and access to own reliable vehicle
• NSW WWCC and ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Medicare Provider Number
• Knowledge of the NDIS or willingness to learn
• Demonstrated ability working with children and families in home and school settings
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with relevant parties at a high level
