About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and motivated Dockhand to join our Wagga Wagga, NSW team in a permanent part-time position, 20h/week.

This hands-on role is responsible for safely loading and unloading freight, preparing shipments for dispatch, assisting with warehouse operations, and ensuring freight moves efficiently through the depot.

Working hours: Monday to Friday roster 4:30am – 8:30am

What You'll Do

- Manually handle and sort parcel freight onto the conveyor system for processing ensuring freight is handled safely and efficiently

- Accurately sort parcel freight into designated freight cages and delivery runs

- Conduct residential parcel deliveries as required, providing a professional and customer-focused service

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment through regular housekeeping and cleaning activities

- Work collaboratively with the operations team to meet daily service, safety, and performance requirements

- Assist with general warehouse, dock, and freight handling duties as required

- Follow all company safety policies,



procedures, and operational standards to ensure a safe workplace for all employees

What You'll Bring

- Previous experience in freight handling, warehousing, logistics, or a similar operational environment is preferred.

- Current C Class Driver's Licence required

- Forklift (LF) licence desirable but not essential.

- Ability to work in a physically demanding role involving repetitive lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

- Commitment to maintaining safe work practices and a safety-first mindset.
