Toni's Continental Butcher & Smallgoods is a local retail butcher and smallgoods producer. We supply fresh meat and traditional European Smallgoods in Toowoomba and South East Queensland.
About the role
We are looking for a Butcher or knife hand, with solid retail experience.
Key responsibilities include: Coordination and prepping retail showcase, prepping orders, customer relations, boning of pork, beef, lamb, sows.
Smallgoods/sausage experience is not required.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in a butcher shop is preferred.
- Qualification in meat processing not required, as long as you have the skills.
- Retail meat presentation & breakdown of carcasses.
- Be a team player with positive communication skills.
- Must enjoy interacting with customers, and fellow staff
- Be well presented and have an excellent customer service focus.
- A desire to maintain high standards
- Must be able to assist in the coordination of boning, orders and maintaining the retail area.
- Experience in Value Added product is preferred.
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Honest and reliable
- Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
