About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pick Packer / Backup Driver to join our warehouse team. This is a hands-on role supporting daily warehouse operations while providing backup delivery driver assistance when required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders, maintaining warehouse standards, and supporting deliveries during periods of increased demand, staff leave, or operational requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse warehouse and logistics environment, takes pride in delivering quality service, and is committed to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Pick, pack, check, wrap, label, and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.

- Ensure products are prepared correctly for delivery or customer collection.

- Perform quality checks to maintain order accuracy and customer satisfaction.

- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.

- Provide backup delivery driver support when required, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and on time.





- Complete delivery paperwork and follow company delivery procedures.

- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.

- Assist with receiving, storing, rotating, and stock control activities.

- Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.

- Follow workplace health and safety requirements and food safety standards, including HACCP/SQF procedures.

- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, drivers, supervisors, and other departments.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, pick packing, logistics, or distribution environment.

- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or food distribution is highly desirable.

- Experience completing deliveries or operating delivery vehicles is preferred.

- A current C-Class driver’s licence (required).

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling customer orders.

- Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and stacking cartons.

- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong commitment to workplace safety, reliability, and customer service.
