Based from our Burleigh Heads workshop, you'll install premium commercial signage across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and throughout South East Queensland. Most work is local, with occasional regional travel for those who are happy to get out on the road.

About the role

We're looking for a skilled installer who takes pride in doing things properly.

This is a hands-on position working across a wide variety of commercial signage projects, from office fit-outs and retail environments through to architectural signage, wayfinding systems, window films, branded environments and large-scale installations.

No two weeks are the same, and you'll be working with an experienced team that values quality workmanship, safety and getting the details right.

Your responsibilities

- Install a wide range of commercial signage to a high standard

- Install architectural signage, illuminated signage, wayfinding systems and environmental graphics

- Apply window films, vinyl graphics and other specialist finishes

- Read and work from plans and installation drawings

- Assist in production tasks in the air conditioned warehouse

- Maintain a safe and organised worksite

- Represent Apex professionally on site with clients, builders and project teams

What we're looking for

We're not looking for someone who's just getting started.





We're looking for an experienced installer who can confidently manage installations, solve problems on site and consistently produce quality work.

You'll ideally have:

- At least 5 years' experience installing commercial and construction signage

- Strong experience across a variety of signage types

- Experience applying architectural or commercial films and graphics (preferred)

- White Card (essential)

- Current driver's licence (essential)

- EWP licence (preferred)

- First Aid certificate (preferred)

- A strong focus on safety, workmanship and attention to detail

- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
