Flat Hill Constructions requires a full time Carpenter to join their team immediately.

Position Summary

The Carpenter role is responsible for delivering high-quality in office carpentry works across residential renovation projects, including bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, and full internal renovations.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard, while supporting overall site coordination and progress. The Carpenter will work closely with the Director and project team to maintain timelines, quality control, and effective trade sequencing across multiple active projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out all aspects of residential carpentry works across renovation projects
- Perform demolition, framing, structural modifications, and general carpentry tasks as required
- Install internal linings, sheeting, fix-outs, and finishing carpentry elements
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate construction
- Assist with site set-out and preparation works
- Coordinate and work alongside subcontractors and trades on-site
- Support site organisation, ensuring materials, tools,



and work areas are maintained efficiently
- Monitor project progress and identify any issues that may impact timelines or quality
- Communicate effectively with the Director regarding site updates, variations, and requirements
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail across all projects
- Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements at all times

Skills and Experience

- Relevant trade qualification in Carpentry (or equivalent industry experience)
- At least one year of carpentry experience, including residential renovations, particularly bathrooms, kitchens, and internal refurbishments
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Salary offered is $75k to $85k

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
