What’s the role?
Step into a role where you’ll provide culturally sensitive GP services within a comprehensive primary healthcare framework, focusing on Remote Communities.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, your impact will be instrumental in upholding clinical leadership, cultural authenticity,
and elevated standards of care.
What do you need to apply?
- Hold specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Be a Fellow of the RACGP or ACRRM, or possess at least five years of GP experience
- Demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture, history, and ongoing issues
- Additional qualifications like DipRANZCOG, FARGP, or MPH are highly valued
- Experience or accreditation as a supervisor of GP registrars is advantageous
- Have the capacity and suitable health and fitness levels for travel and work in remote locations
