What you'll be doing
To provide timely and appropriate surgical services to patients within Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital with Vascular Surgical conditions who require clinical review or treatment by the Department of Vascular Surgery.
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience; previous general surgery experience, FRACS part 2 desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex clinical environment.
- Demonstrated clinical competency; demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated experience and interest in research and teaching junior medical staff.
- Participation in the Department / unit after hours roster.
