- Perform auto-electrical wiring of new, used and repaired tankers and trucks
- Install pneumatic systems in tanker sub frames
- Demonstrate competency in the use of workshop plant
- Demonstrate competency in the use of hand tools
- Work within the perimeters of Workplace Health and Safety legislation
WORKING CONDITIONS

Most work is carried out in a contemporary, neat workshop
- Some work is carried out in cramped/tight spaces
- Some work is conducted outside
- Some work involves working at heights
- Sometimes work is conducted in extreme heat
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Be physically fit
- Ability to work for extended periods in cramped/tight spaces
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to use hand tools for long periods of time
- Ability to use percussion tools
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Lift heavy objects on a regular basis
