Casual position | Approximately 2–5 days per week
Vic Signs Group is looking for a reliable and hands-on Production Assistant to join our signage production team.
This is a casual role with approximately 2–5 days of work per week, depending on workload. No previous signage experience is required, as training will be provided on-site.
The role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable using tools and is interested in learning how signage, printing and vehicle graphics are produced.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with signage and print production
- Preparing vinyl graphics and printed materials
- Applying vinyl to signs, panels and other surfaces
- Cutting, trimming, measuring and assembling signage
- Packing completed jobs and preparing materials for installation
- Assisting the production and installation teams when required
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
- Completing basic artwork or file preparation tasks, depending on experience
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Comfortable working with their hands
- Able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with physical work and occasional lifting
- Available between 2 and 5 weekdays per week
Handyman, trade, construction, fabrication or workshop experience would be highly regarded.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or other design software would also be a robust advantage, but is not essential.
