Assistant Restaurant Manager – North Sydney

Zambrero, Australia's largest Mexican franchise, is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to work in the North Sydney location. You will assist the Restaurant Manager in maintaining the highest standard in customer experience, workplace culture, and financial results.

What You’ll Do

- Lead the restaurant team in efficient day‑to‑day operations
- Assist in managing your team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, rostering, and resolving employee issues and grievances
- Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
- Assist with ordering stock from various suppliers
- Assist with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll, and policy review
- Manage daily and weekly cleaning of production areas, dining room, and general restaurant
- Ensure safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
