RSM Australia is seeking a motivated and detail‑focused Accountant to join our Manjimup office. This role offers client exposure, hands‑on experience, and clear career pathways within a supportive regional team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting work papers.
- Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Assist with BAS, IAS, and other tax compliance obligations.
- Provide tax advice across areas including GST, CGT, FBT, and income tax.
- Contribute to general business advisory work and client engagement.
- Work closely with Partners and support junior team members.
- Apply understanding of the business environment and client industries to deliver practical, client‑focused solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in Business or Commerce with an Accounting major, CA or equivalent qualification, or currently working towards one.
- Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A proactive, client‑focused approach.
