The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team.

About the Role:

Working closely with our Head of Finance, you'll play a key role in managing our financial operations - from monthly reporting and reconciliations to compliance and statutory requirements. This is a hands‑on position where you'll contribute to the financial health of one of the NRL's most iconic clubs.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Leading month‑end and year‑end processes
- Managing compliance obligations including BAS/GST returns
- Overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions
- Supporting audit processes and budget preparation

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce
- CA/CPA qualified (or working toward completion)
- 3-5 years' post‑graduate accounting experience




- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Xero or similar)
- Proactive mindset with ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with sports or non‑profit organisations is a plus
