The role:

This is a hands-on leadership position combining the day-to-day management and growth of our Service Department with field-based technical work. As the department expands, the role will progressively shift toward leadership, business development and strategic oversight.

- Leading and supporting the Service Department, including the Client Services & Operations Coordinator, Service Technicians, Apprentices and allocated subcontractors.
- Overseeing the complete service workflow—from initial enquiry and scheduling through to attendance, quoting, repairs, invoicing and job close-out.
- Completing residential and commercial servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs across ducted, split, VRV/VRF, packaged and evaporative systems.
- Attending complex faults, technical escalations and high-value customer sites requiring senior technical oversight.
- Completing onsite repair quotations using an iPad and clearly presenting findings, options and pricing to customers.
- Providing technical guidance, mentoring and structured development for Technicians and Apprentices.
- Managing departmental performance against revenue, gross profit, productivity, quote conversion, quality and customer-service targets.
- Reviewing job profitability, labour recovery, technician utilisation, callbacks, warranty work and service quality to identify and implement improvements.
- Developing and growing Celsius Air’s recurring preventative-maintenance portfolio across residential, property, hospitality,



retail and commercial markets.
- Building relationships with existing and prospective customers, conducting site inspections and preparing and following up maintenance proposals.
- Ensuring service reports, job records, photographs, technical readings and compliance documentation are complete and accurate within Simpro.
- Conducting field audits, workmanship reviews and job-file audits to maintain high standards of quality, safety and compliance.
- Taking ownership of complex customer concerns and technical escalations, ensuring issues are handled professionally and followed through to resolution.
- Supporting split-system installations and other approved minor installation work when required.
- Working collaboratively with the Installations, Sales, Electrical, Accounts and Management teams to support Celsius Air’s continued growth.

Requirements

- 5+ years of HVAC experience
- 3+ years Leadership experience
- Ability to pick up systems quickly
- Valid driver's licence




- Relevant HVAC qualifications, including Trade Certificate, Refrigerant Licence, Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence, and White Card
- Ability to diagnose, quote and complete repairs to a high standard
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Growth mindset, willingness to learn, high ethics, and desire to make A LOT of $$
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug test
- Clean driving record requirements will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
