About the work unit / facility:

Periopertaive and Outpatient Services, within the Surgical Service Group at Townsville University Hospital, provides specialist ophthalmology services for patients with complex ophthalmology conditions across a collaborative multidisciplinary service.

Market-competitive salary and benefits

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

- Salary range: $73.12 to $76.30 p.h. (HP5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available.

Join a specialist ophthalmology service where you'll deliver advanced care for patients with complex ophthalmology conditions and contribute to clincial excellence, research, education and service improvement.

Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Optometry or equivalent and proof of registration (Optometry Board of Australia)
- Current Class C driver's licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
