Our client is a long‑standing Australian engineering and manufacturing business that builds specialised machinery and integrated production‑line solutions for clients in food, beverage and other high‑volume sectors. Their teams combine mechanical design, automation, controls and project delivery under one roof, giving customers a single partner from initial concept through to installation, commissioning and ongoing support.

About the Role

This role is a permanent opportunity based out of their Echuca offices 3 days a week and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

- The Junior Accountant will bring structure and accuracy back into a finance team that’s been stretched thin. You’ll take ownership of the core accounting work that currently sits with the Head of Finance, covering reconciliations, journals, payroll processing, AP and AR oversight, fixed assets, inventory and WIP.
- It’s broad and hands‑on, ideal for someone who wants full‑cycle exposure in a manufacturing environment and is happy to dig into the detail when the numbers look off.
- The business uses NetSuite, although a few workflows still need tightening, so strong accuracy and solid Excel skills matter.
- They’re after someone curious, steady under pressure and comfortable working with production teams.

About You

- You’ll have solid accounting foundations,



a relevant qualification and experience across AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations and general ledger work.
- You’re curious about costing, WIP and inventory, and you enjoy understanding how the numbers tie into operations on the floor.
- Solid Excel skills are important, along with the confidence to work across different systems, NetSuite experience a bonus.
- You’re steady, detail focused and comfortable partnering with production and project teams.
- Most importantly, you can bring structure and consistency to the core accounting work so the Head of Finance can focus on the bigger picture.
