About the role

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Tester to work with one of our key customers on a service transformation project. The right candidate will have strong skills in testing Microsoft business apps like D365 CRM, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse. They should have a robust understanding of quality assurance principles and test automation methodologies

The candidate should be skilled in testing integrations between front-end components and Power Pages, doing API and UI testing, and handling all testing stages in an agile environment. Experience with test automation, API testing with Postman, and Microsoft technologies is important.

Key Accountabilities

- Own and manage end-to-end testing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Portals) solutions, ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met.
- Perform API testing using Postman to validate integrations between Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and external systems, including REST and OData APIs.
- Validate data integrity and synchronization across Dataverse, Dynamics 365 modules, and integrated systems (APIs, third-party services, etc.).
- Conduct SIT, UAT, regression and performance testing for D365 and Power Platform components, including workflows, plugins, and business rules.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, EasyRepro, Cypress or other supported frameworks to accelerate regression and integration testing.
- Validate business-critical workflows and security roles to ensure proper access control and data confidentiality in D365 apps.
- Collaborate closely with developers, solution architects, and business analysts to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and identify test scenarios early in the SDLC.
- Log, track,



and manage defects through tools like Azure DevOps Boards, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution with developers.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and delivery efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test data, and test evidence documentation in accordance with compliance and audit standards.
- Coordinate closely with the Test Manager to support all testing activities, ensure alignment with the overall test strategy, and elevate risks or blockers as needed.
- Champion quality and user experience by advocating for early and continuous testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Hands-on experience testing Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions.
- Experience with SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, and Automation Testing.
- Proficiency with Selenium, EasyRepro, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or Jira for test and defect management.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
