Job Description

- Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee financial compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes effectively.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes to ensure data accuracy.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business objectives within the leisure, travel, and tourism sector.
- Mentor and support junior team members in the accounting and finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful National Accountant should have:





- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards one).
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation laws.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
