About the Role

As a Data & Analytics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in buildingquality customer experiences through deep technical expertise, engineeringskills, analytical problem-solving capability and solutioning. Reporting to theHead of Data & Analytics, you will deliver accurate, well-architected datasolutions and insights that support customers throughout their loan lifecycles,spanning data pipeline engineering, business and product analytics, and customerlifecycle insights. You will take ownership of the quality, correctness, andmaintainability of the analytical outputs and data products you own, andcontribute to technical direction within the Data & Analytics team.

Some of the activities that you will perform include:





- Collaborating with the Head of Data & Analytics and team members to define and deliver robustanalytical and data pipeline solutions aligned to business and productpriorities.
- Designing accurate, compliant, stable, scalable, and cost-effective data products andreporting experiences.
- Leading design discussions and introducing reusable patterns and practices that reducecomplexity and improve long-term maintainability.
- Contributing to the stability and reliability of production data systems and pipelines througheffective incident response and preventative improvement.
- Upholding strong data practices including validation, testing, and adherence to data governance and SDLC principles.
- Maintaining and contributing to technical documentation including data dictionaries,architectural decision records (ADRs), runbooks, and onboarding guides.
- Mentoring and supporting more junior team members and providing constructive, actionablepeer reviews of analytical outputs and pipeline code.
- Evaluating and responsibly leveraging emerging technologies, including AI-assistedanalytical tools, to improve delivery and analytical practices.

Skills and Experience

- 5+ years' experience working in a data and analytics team environment, with 3+ years in a commercial agile workplace.




- Strong expertise and 3+ years using the Databricks platform to develop and implement medallion lakehouse solutions
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern BI tools
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and responsibly leverage AI-assisted analytical tools toenhance productivity, output quality, and problem-solving efficiency.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying data solutions on Azure or a similar cloudplatform, utilising best practices for scalability, reliability, and dataquality.
- Hands-on experience with pipeline monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Azure Monitor) anddata or API testing approaches.
- Experience developing data pipelines integrating with third-party APIs or services across thecustomer and loan lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of SDLC principles and agile delivery methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Continuous Delivery.
- Bonus: Experience integrating AI or ML-powered capabilities into analytical or dataproducts, applying Test Driven Development to data pipelines, orsupporting regulatory or compliance-driven data environments.
