About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established operation servicing and maintaining a range of agricultural machinery and equipment . This is a permanent, full-time position suited to a mechanic with hands-on experience in agricultural or mobile plant environments.

Key Responsibilities

Service, diagnose, and repair agricultural equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and related machinery

Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults

Perform engine, transmission, and component repairs

Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately

Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and manufacturer standards

Skills and Experience





Proven experience working on agricultural equipment or mobile plant

Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems

Ability to diagnose faults and work independently

Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

Transparent communication skills in English

Additional Requirements

Ability to work in a regional or agricultural setting

Willingness to support seasonal workloads and breakdowns, when required

Hourly rate: $45–$50 per hour , depending on experience
