Opportunity to be involved
This is a six (6) month maximum-term contract position. The Manager Executive Support provides proactive executive support to the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer, coordinating priorities, managing information and enabling the smooth delivery of strategic and operational outcomes. This is an outstanding chance for a highly organised executive support professional who enjoys working with senior leaders, managing competing priorities and building trusted relationships across the organisation.
Role responsibilities
Executive Operations and Workflow Management
- Manage the COO and CRO’s calendars, priorities, correspondence and information flow, ensuring commitments, actions and deadlines are delivered on time.
- Prepare, format and proofread high-quality briefing papers, reports, presentations and executive communications.
- Provide end-to-end meeting support, including agendas, minutes, action tracking and coordination of meeting papers.
- Coordinate travel, expenses, routine reporting and maintain executive records in line with ARPC’s document management requirements.
Planning, Coordination and Team Support
- Act as the central coordination point between the COO, CRO, internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure aligned priorities and effective communication.
- Coordinate Executive Team meetings, leadership forums and cross-functional working groups, supporting governance and operational delivery.
- Support financial administration, procurement, office operations and internal events while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist with project coordination, monitoring milestones, risks and dependencies, and provide leave coverage and support across the Executive Support team as required.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Support
- Represent the COO and CRO Office with professionalism, discretion and exceptional customer service when engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare executives for Board and Committee meetings, insurer engagement, government briefings and other key stakeholder interactions.
- Coordinate meeting and event logistics, ensuring high-quality delivery, documentation and follow-up.
- Manage sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and build trusted relationships across ARPC and with external partners.
Candidate attributes
Qualifications
- High School Certificate, Diploma or tertiary qualification — Desirable
Experience
- Extensive Executive Assistant/Executive Support experience in a highly governed environment — Mandatory
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners — Mandatory
- Experience working across all organisational levels — Desirable
- Knowledge of insurance, reinsurance, banking or financial services — Desirable
Technical capability
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- High discretion, professionalism and emotional intelligence.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach.
Note
The role is based in Sydney CBD. This is a six (6) month maximum-term contract position.
You must be an Australian citizen and be able to obtain an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
