The Role
This permanent role is central to Pacific Blue’s Retail function, responsible for driving digital growth by converting demand into completed customer sales across our retail brand, Tango Energy .
The Digital Growth Manager owns end-to-end digital conversion performance, ensuring our digital channels — including website and assisted (Chat) journeys — are optimised, high-performing, and compliant. This is a hands‑on role focused on conversion rate optimisation (CRO), experimentation, digital journey management, and platform performance, ensuring marketing-generated demand is efficiently converted into measurable outcomes.
Working closely with Marketing, IT, Product, and Compliance teams, the role balances commercial outcomes with customer experience, operational effectiveness, and regulatory requirements.
This is a full‑time hybrid position based in Melbourne.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Own end-to-end digital conversion performance across web and assisted (Chat) sales journeys, optimising funnels to reduce friction and abandonment
- Establish and lead a structured CRO and experimentation program, using data, funnel analysis, and insights to drive continuous improvement
- Develop and execute experimentation roadmaps with clear hypotheses, measurable outcomes, and actionable learnings
- Map and manage end-to-end digital customer journeys across segments, identifying opportunities to improve conversion and experience
- Own CMS governance, including architecture, templates, components, and release processes to ensure stability, consistency, and compliance
- Work with IT to monitor and improve platform performance including uptime, speed, and reliability
- Manage website operations including testing, updates,
vendor management, service tickets, and SLA adherence
- Own and manage the digital Capex budget, including retainer and project spend
- Partner with Marketing and Communications teams to deliver effective digital content aligned to strategic priorities
- Develop and maintain robust funnel measurement, attribution models, and performance reporting
- Analyse digital performance data to generate insights, inform decision-making, and track key metrics
- Ensure all digital activities meet regulatory and compliance obligations
Knowledge and experience:
- More than 7+ years of Digital Sales experience, ideally in retail energy or similar industry.
- More than 7+ years’ experience developing and leading customer-focused strategic plans and initiatives, ideally in retail energy or similar industry.
- Tertiary qualification in business, strategy or marketing.
- Business planning and project implementation.
- Demonstrated strong business and commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to optimise commercial drivers in the development of sustainable business plans and achieve cost-effective outcomes.

- Understanding of data and links to performance.
