An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Data Centre Design Manager to join a leading engineering and infrastructure business delivering complex, large-scale data centre developments across Australia.

This is a key leadership position where you'll take ownership of the design management process, working alongside major clients, consultants and delivery teams to ensure world-class outcomes from concept through to construction.

The Opportunity

You'll play a pivotal role in coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, managing stakeholder relationships and driving technical excellence across high-profile mission critical projects. This is an opportunity to influence the delivery of some of Australia's most advanced data centre facilities while working within a growing national team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design management of large-scale data centre projects from feasibility through to construction.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering consultants and design partners.
- Manage client, contractor and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and challenge technical design solutions to ensure quality,



programme and commercial objectives are achieved.
- Drive collaboration between engineering, construction and commissioning teams.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with industry standards, client requirements and programme milestones.

About You

- Proven experience delivering complex data centre , mission critical or major infrastructure/building projects.
- Strong background in design management, project engineering or technical project delivery.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams within fast-paced project environments.
- Engineering or construction-related tertiary qualification preferred.
