About the Role

This is a strategic enablement position at the intersection of AI innovation, security, and compliance. You will act as a trusted partner to business, innovation, and product teams — helping them move fast while ensuring risks are managed proportionately. Rather than being a barrier, you will make secure and compliant AI adoption a competitive advantage for NRI.

Key Accountabilities

AI Security & Governance

- Provide pragmatic, risk-proportionate guidance and controls to enable AI initiatives.
- Identify and manage AI-related security risks (data usage, model risks, third-party tools).
- Conduct risk and control assessments for new AI technologies and business initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with privacy, data protection, and regulatory requirements
- Support compliance with standards including ISO 42001, SOC2, and emerging AI regulations.
- Monitor AI security, privacy, and regulatory developments and evolve internal governance practices.

Stakeholder Engagement & Assurance

- Partner closely with business units, IT, Legal, innovation teams, and leadership to drive secure AI adoption.
- Develop reporting, dashboards, and metrics for governance forums.
- Support client assurance activities including security assessments, audits, and RFPs.
- Lead responses to regulatory,

audit, and third-party reviews.

Additional Responsibilities

- Contribute to broader information security, risk, compliance, and assurance initiatives.
- Drive innovation and strategic initiatives from a security and governance lens.

Skills, Experience & Role Fit

- Good practical experience in information security, governance, risk, or compliance.
- Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and associated risks.
- Good practical knowledge of AI security and governance, with solid attention to detail.
- A hands‑on specialist, ideally with approximately 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work closely with Information Security management, contribute ideas, and take ownership of agreed priorities.
- Suitability for a hands‑on individual‑contributor role, with flexibility, collaboration, comfort with changing priorities, and openness to feedback.
- Familiarity with data protection and privacy principles (e.g., GDPR, APPs).
- Awareness of AI governance frameworks (ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF – highly regarded).
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, or related field (desirable).

Relevant certifications (desirable): CISSP, CISM, or AI governance/ethics certifications.

If you are passionate about enabling innovation through smart governance and want to shape the future of AI at a forward‑thinking organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
