The AI Strategic Advisor is a senior leader responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s AI vision, driving enterprise-wide transformation, and delivering measurable business impact. This role partners with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to architect and scale AI-first solutions, foster responsible innovation, and position the organization as a market leader in AI.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic AI Leadership & Transformation
- Define and drive the enterprise AI strategy, aligning with business objectives and industry trends.
- Lead the integration of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and advanced analytics into core business processes, enabling sustainable transformation and competitive advantage.
- Architect and oversee the full lifecycle of AI initiatives—from ideation and prototyping to production deployment and scaling.
- Translate complex AI opportunities into tangible outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
2. Industry & Domain Expertise
- Demonstrate deep expertise in one or more sectors (e.g., BFSI, CPG/Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, High Tech).
- Advise on sector-specific challenges, regulatory environments, and data ecosystems.
- Leverage experience with market-leading brands and global organizations.
3. Client Engagement & Advisory
- Engage with C-level executives and senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on AI strategy and transformation.
- Facilitate workshops, visioning sessions, and strategic planning to build consensus and secure leadership commitment.
- Guide clients through AI adoption, change management, and capability building.
4. Technical Excellence & Solution Delivery
- Lead technical teams in designing, architecting,
and delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions (GenAI, LLMs, RAG, agentic frameworks, cloud platforms).
- Ensure best practices in cloud, DevOps, MLOps, and data governance.
- Oversee risk assessment, ethical AI deployment, and regulatory compliance.
5. Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Publish research, whitepapers, and IP in AI and related fields.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and academic collaborations.
- Drive internal capability building, knowledge sharing, and a culture of experimentation.
- Mentor and develop cross-functional, global teams.
- Foster diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Lead talent acquisition and upskilling initiatives for AI readiness.
Core Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
- 15+ years in technology consulting, AI/ML strategy, or enterprise architecture (20+ years preferred for CXO-level engagement).
- Proven leadership in enterprise-scale AI initiatives, including GenAI and agentic AI deployments.
- Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and large-scale client engagements.
- Recognized contributions to open-source projects, technical publications, or industry standards.
