Work Locations: Projects across New South Wales and across the country FIFO from Sydney (We pay for your flights). Roster options: 2:1 or 4:2 (site & client dependent). Work types: A mix of client site and exploration projects (must be flexible, with both caravan & camp site accommodation).
Qualifications
- Valid HR-B driver’s licence – Unrestricted (required) or willing to obtain prior to starting
- National Police Clearance (within 12 months) (required)
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate (HLTAID009 & HLTAID011) (required)
- FIFO from any capital city in Australia (Induction based in Perth, WA)
- Physically fit with manual labour experience for 12-hour shifts in remote, harsh conditions
- Safety-focused, reliable, and a strong team player
- Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident to apply due to government traineeship
Duties
- Mobilising the rig from one set-up to another
- Handling core removal from tube, placing in core boxes and labelling box
- Handling drilling rods and core tubes
- Mixing drill fluid additives
- Cleaning equipment and keeping work area clean
- Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs
