Meet our agile Solution Engineering team in Sydney, Australia, and be part of a results‑driven pre‑sales group supporting the ANZ Splunk Scale business.

Responsibilities

- Demonstrate and evangelize Splunk products and services through onsite sessions, webinars, and field events.
- Lead discovery calls and conversations to identify and validate opportunities, independently or with your sales counterpart.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
- Conduct on‑site customer engagements, including Proof of Value/Concept demonstrations.
- Address complex technical inquiries and resolve customer concerns to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to continuously improve working practices, processes, and customer success.

Minimum Qualifications

- Proven experience in enterprise presales, ideally 5+ years,



with a technical focus.
- Ability to understand complex application environments and machine data sources (logs, security data, network data, etc.).
- Strong ability to articulate complex technical solutions to customers and partners.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams to deliver customer value and improve processes.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands‑on knowledge of Splunk solutions and experience demonstrating their value to commercial customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Working knowledge of AI concepts & practical adoption of AI capabilities.
- Familiarity with open‑source technologies, search engines, and query languages.
- Experience in security or observability solutions.
- Scripting languages is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and customer success.
