We now have an exciting chance available for a Training Coordinator East to join our Operations Competency and Development team in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, WA on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Lead – Training Delivery and Gas Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the technical competence of the Operation’s frontline workforce in our Gas and Power divisions, through the coordinated technical and compliance training both locally and nationally. The OCD team are committed to skilling a safe, capable and future‑ready APA workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain respectful relationships with other members of the team, the broader Operations and Maintenance function and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and support internal and external training providers.
- Plan, schedule and book training courses with external training providers.
- Efficiently use Learning Management System (WorkDay Learning Preferred) to create accounts, create training sessions, enrol students and generate reports.
- Assist in the resolution of training and assessment queries and issues raised by internal customers.
Your background
- Passionate about employee development and careers.
- Previous experience with system coordination.
- Demonstrated experience using Learning Management System or similar.
- Strong time‑management skills including excellent planning and execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
